Tinnitus and Dizziness with Underlying Neurological and Cardiovascular Pathology

‘I can hear my heartbeat’. This is quite common and most of us on some occasion experience this,  perhaps after physical exercise or in the quiet in bed at night. Associated sounds can be ‘rushing’, ‘water’ or ‘wind’ like noises that may or may not be accompanied by a perceivable heartbeat.

In some cases, these sounds may become intrusive and interfere with daily activities or sleep. If these sounds are persistent, it may be a warning of an underlying disorder that requires closer medical scrutiny.
